Wellbeing

If you are concerned about your child's wellbeing, please do contact staff in school for support.  Our child and family support worker, Mrs Gregory, can provide ongoing support for children and their families and all staff will support children's wellbeing.

We are a With Me in Mind School.  This means that we hold regular consultations with With Me in Mind about pupils and we access their whole school offer.  This includes regular assemblies about welbeing, work with small groups of children and tailored support where necessary.  If you feel that your child needs support beyond that offered in school, please speak to Mrs Gregory or Mrs Painter and we will discuss your child with With Me in MInd to see how best to support them.

Here is the link to Doncaster CAMHS website Welcome to Doncaster CAMHS – CAMHS (rdash.nhs.uk) (Children and Adolescant Mental Health Services) for further support.  Please contact Mrs Painter if you feel that your child needs a referral to CAMHS.  As we are a With Me in MInd school, all referrals to CAMHS will go via With Me in Mind initially.

Courses for Parents

Solihull Parenting Course

If you would like to access a parenting course face to face then we can help you find the best way to do this.  In Summer term, Mrs Gregory will be running the Solihull course in school.  We hope this will enable parents to access a support network and also build confidence in their parenting skills.  If you would like to join this course, please email the school office for further information.

Maybe you have heard about the brilliant online courses for parents, FREE (with access code: STGEORGE at: www.inourplace.co.uk) for residents in our area?
