It allows them to maximise their personal, creative and academic potential in order to become life-long learners and responsible citizens.

 

Our school is an exciting and vibrant place. To date we have achieved the Artsmark Gold Award, Healthy Schools and Active Mark Award and have been listed as one of Ofsted’s Outstanding Providers – achievements we are very proud of.

We aim to establish a firm partnership between parents and teachers from the beginning so that the education and the development of all the children can be shared. 

 

We recognise and value the key role parents play in the education of their children and we aim to promote a firm partnership between parents and school whereby the education and the development of children is shared, understood and enhanced.

 

A Home-School Agreement outlines in more detail these expectations and it is hoped that parents sign this agreement when their child commences school.

 

Involvement in and understanding of school life is fostered and built on through a wide variety of activities including, helping in school in numerous ways, open evenings, class based visits as well as social and fund raising events, supported by an active Home and School Association.

 

We realise and value parental participation which occurs at home as well as at school and encourages this through shared reading and other activities which involve parents in their child’s education.

 

We try to create and foster an open atmosphere where parents and staff communicate freely and where parents opinions, support and involvement are highly valued.

 

Parents are always welcome to visit our school before the children start with us. A telephone call to arrange a time would be advisable.
